Why to waste Chapattis left over at night…lets prepare Delicious Spicy Churma (Kutake)…..


It is really cool if we reached our home at night, and delicious dinner is ready on the table. But sometimes due to unplanned outing or any other reason we had dinner outside; and at home there would be wastage of your food.
It really hurts when you waste the chapattis which left over at night and throw it in dust bin.

Here I am coming with a new dish, where you can prepare delicious and tasty dish using chapattis which you have left over in night.  In Marathi, this dish has a very good name; some called it either ‘Churma’ or ‘Kutake’.  So let’s follow the below steps and prepare your dish:

Ingredients to prepare Churma (for 2 People):

1. 7-8 Chapattis left over at night
2. Groundnut/pea nut 50 grams
3. 2 - Onions (if 3 then its good)
4. 2 - Tomato
5. 4 - Green Chilli
6. 1 spoon Cumin
7. 2- Spoon Oil (depending upon spoon size, 2 spoon is by considering medium size spoon)
8.  Curry leaves
9. 1- Spoon Turmeric
10. 1/4 spoon muster seed
11. Salt as required
12. coriander leaves

Process to Prepare Churma:
1.      Break the Chapattis in small pieces, spread some water over it to make it soft
2. Cut Onions in small and Long pieces, Tomato and Chillies
2. Keep Pan on Gas, and pour required oil in it
3. Heat Oil at Medium flame, add curry leaves, cumin Seeds, mustard seeds
4. Add Onion and Chillies, fry it till get it light brown
5. Add Mutter/Pea nuts/ground nuts
6. Add turmeric, Chilli powder (if u want to make more spicy), and mix it well
7. Add tomato, and mix it well
8. Add Chapatti pieces to this mixture, mix it properly
9. If required, spread some water (to stop it from getting burn)
10. Keep gas at low flame for 6-7 minutes (ensure to mix it in between)
11. After get it down from gas, add lemon juice and mix well
12. Add coriander leaves
13. Cut onion in small pieces and spread it over your dish to make it more tasty
14. Now enjoy your breakfast with Hot cup of tea
